Aluminum Plane electric problems?
I am in the final stage of ultra-light model scale. The whole plane is built by aluminum pipe so there is a lot of metallic contacts and possible source of electric problems.
Has anybody experience with such a kind of plane?
What can I do to prevent problems?
Thanks in advance

Aluminum Plane electric problems?
not sure, but i think earthing the frame by linking all joints with a wire stops it..., tho, if everything is bolted together this kinda does it.
im thinking the interferance cant generate coz both parts are at the same PD ( voltage )
if all bolts are tight theres no room for movement that causes it...
if anyone thinks im talking out of my *****, and theres no reason im not, im getting flickers of what i know here and i cant say im right, then say sommit.

Aluminum Plane electric problems?
Having all that aluminun superstructure c ertainly will challenge the reciever. Years ago I built an Jensen Sweet Stick with a all aluminum fuselage. The wing was straightforward as per plans, the tail feathers were made from foamboard with hard balsa edges. The fuse was made a full four inches wide from firewall to trailing edge of wing saddle. Power: Mccoy .40 ,radio Kraft 4 ch on blue and white AM. Flying: with antenna parallel to fuse not much range ; with antenna streched along center of wing, no problem, good range. I still have the fuse. Results should be even better with todays PPM or PCM Txs. Widgeon
