Grave's R/C; one of the best hobby shops I've ever been in. You literally cannot see the ceiling for all the models hanging up there.

They've got a separate room just for props and engine accesories.

One entire wall is nothing but kits and ARFs.

You get the picture. It's a modeler's candy store.

I use to live there in Orlando for over 8 years. I worked for Bob's Hobby Center at the corner of Lake Underhill. He passed away, but the store will live on. You will not find a better hobby store in Orlando. He was my personel friend for many years and they stock any and everythings you could want. If they don't have it you don't need it. You can find them on the web. When there please tell them that Larry Dungan Sent you. Larry Dungan

Bummer; when did he die? I used to deal with him over the phone, ordering stuff. A great guy.

Last time I was down there (2001), I went by to meet him and had a nice chat. It is indeed an excellent hobby store, but in no way has the variety and quantity of stock that Grave's does.

Both Grave's and Bob"s are great hobby shops. A third one in Sanford is very good also, Flightline Hobbies at www.flightlinehobbies.com. Bob"s is now owned by an ex Brit, Steven Thomas who flies really BIG BIG models.

I have only been to the one in Sanford past the Mall and Graves. Make sure when you go to Grave's you have at least an hour to kill. You will spend that amount of time just looking!
