Default homemade prop balancers..

Could someone share with me their design for a homemade prop balancer? I really would rather not buy one if its possible to make one fairly easily. Thanks.

If you can get a rod the same diameter as the propeller hole, I would use two CD's as supports for the rod thought the propeller.

Use single edged razor blades mounted in a V shap, it will take four. Fasten them to a pair of uprights a few inches apart and tall enough to clear the props you are going to balance. You will need a piece of rod the diameter of the hole in the prop hub, it should be a snug fit. When the rod is placed between the uprights and in the two V shaped blades you will have a friction free balancer. Cheap, quick and just as accurate as any other balancer.

I use a fingertip balancer. Does the job just fine. $4.29 at TH.
