Default Looking 4 Custom Foam Cutter

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE IN THE CUSTOM FOAM CUTTING BIZZ THAT CAN TACKLE CUTTING SOME FOAM KIT'S. WOULD LIKE TO DO A 1/3-1/4 SCALE D-17 STAGGERWING, I HAVE THE PLANS. A 96" NORTHROP GAMMA, I HAVE THE PLANE AND THE PLANS FOR PATTERNS. AND LAST I NEED A SEAMASTER 120 CUT IN FOAM. I HAVE THE PLANE AND PLANS. IS ANY ONE IN THE FOAM CUTTING BIZZ? THANKS, LON

Go to your LHS and buy a length of nichrome wire and string it between the leads of a car battery charger. PRESTO, you have a foam wing core cutter.

I'm going to forward you request to a person who does custom building and cuts foam wings for many types of planes.. He does fiberglass work also and great woodworking..

WELL, THAT'S A START SCOTT, THANKS FOR THE REPLY. HOPE TO HEAR FROM HIM. IF SOMEONE HAS ANY INTEREST IN ANY OF THESE PLANES LET ME KNOW, IT MIGHT BE CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN! THE BUILDING TECHNIQUE WOULD BE THE SAME AS ANY NWHT PLANE, WHICH I HAVE FOUND TO BE VERY STRONG AND AN ENJOYABLE BUILDING EXPERIENCE. YOU CAN ADD AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE DETAIL YOU WANT DEPENDING ON YOUR TASTE. THANK, LON

Look up Bob Hunt in our AMA magazine (Editor's column) he's one on the best foam wing cutters in the industry.
