A building board for repairs will probably not be needed, however, you might want to pick up some small t-pins. Other repair tools to consider are:
1. X-acto knife with #11 blades
2. Masking tape
3. Zona-saw
4. Straight edge
5. Needle-nose pliers
6. Screwdriver assortment
7. Clamps (clothes pins work OK on some repairs, Bull Dog clamps work well as does small c- clamps)
You can add more items as you go along, but this should be a good start. Good Luck with your repairs.

I have a bunch of pages on my site where I describe various tools and their uses. It's not all-inclusive (what is?) and you don't need most of it, but it will give you a fair run down of what's out there and what it's used for and you can decide for yourself what you need.

Sorry to be the Mom here Mapper, but since you are new to CA glue, make sure you take all the ventilation warnings seriously (epoxy too). Just trying to save your lungs. Many in our sport / hobby have developed an allergy to CA fumes. Including myself. Make sure you have TONS of ventilation and or wear a respirator. Just a quick note to maybe save you some headache (literally) later.

Jeff
