Default Will it work ?

I want to try putting a cub wing on my LT-40 fuse. I have just finished building the LT-40 using lite ply. I have a wing from a Hangar 9 cub that is the same length, but not the same wing chord. The wing chord is about 4-5 inches shorter, what do you think will it work. I have a MDS 61 on it. I know it is too big but to get it to balance right this is the best engine to get the balance
right. I just thought it might be fun to try it.
Thanks

There's only one way to find out... try it! This is what is commonly known as "Kit Bashing". It is done by many people and most of the time with successful results. Now I'm sure that there are going to be some people out there who are going to warn you about going against kit manufacturers recommendations, but let's face it, many people do it, and it's fun. So try it! Just be careful. don't take it out for the first time when there's a huge crowd, or bad flying conditions. Find a nice quiet night at the field, give it a test flight, and if all seems well, have a ball!

I saw a guy the other day fly a H9 aresti ARF with a tornado wing. It flew perfect.
