building table

Default building table

I need a building table, what should i use and/or what do i need to build one? i will be building a greatplanes learjet .40

I built a simple 8' x 3' bench topped with 2x6's butted together and a 8x3 piece of oak ply. Its very solid and completely flat. From there you can get some sort of surface that will hold pins.

2 saw-horses a reject door from your local hardware store and a sheet of foam insulation on top that will hold pins etc(and it's reversable) all for 25-30 bucks
