Have you had a problem with Sheldons? I order from them all the time and they have been outstanding. Got an order from them Monday of this week that I placed on-line the Sunday before last. They had even called last week because one of the items I ordered was out of stock. Asked if I wanted to have the rest of the order shipped or wait for the back order. I decided to wait and it still arrived a few days later. How many mail order places call you long distance to do that? Usually I order on-line and it arrives 2 - 3 days later.

I placed an order for Spring Air retracts from Sheldons. They said they would ship them to me the following week
. That week was in January of 2004. In Febraury I ask what the status was on them
. I ask what the status was in March[sm=drowning.gif]. I fear to ask for April since they don't respond. I suggest that you buy them from Spring Air directly.

The problem isn't with Sheldons, it's with Spring Air. Many suppliers nowdays rely on drop shipping (when the vendor takes the order and the mfg sends the product) to avoid having to stock a slow moving item. I ordered some retracts direct from spring air in Jan and was told they would ship in a week. Two months and many frustrating attempts to contact them by phone, I finally cancelled the order by email. My order arrived the next day via overnite shipping with no shipping charge to me. Go figure. Great product, lousy mfg. service! [:@] Paul
