Default center of gravity ????????????

the CofG should be about 25-30% of your wing chord. if you have constant chord this is easy, if its tapered harder. but just in front of the highest point on the root of your wing is a good place to start.
im sure you'll get a few people throw numbers at you in a min, so hang on

Default center of gravity ????????????

OK, GUYS NOW I AM MORE CONFUSED THAN WHEN I STARTED. THE SITE YOU SENT ME TO JUST CONFUED ME MORE. iS IT POSSIBLE THAT BY USING THE 4O MOTOR WITHOUT BALLBEARING IN THE PLANE LIKE THE CLERK TOLD ME IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM SINCE THE PLANE SPECKS SAY TO USE A 18-30 MOTOR?

Default center of gravity ????????????

as far as i know these plain bearing engines are lighter than the balled ones, so your CofG shouldnt be too far away. as long as you can balance it on your fingers just infront of the higest point, it'll be fine. i do this with the tank full to make sure the planes not twitchy when its dry.
i suspect its too nose heavy at the moment.
if you cant work out CofG i assume you cant fly solo yet, so take it to your club and someone there will be able to help. everyone has lead or screw drivers they can add to make it fly
