RE: PLane Screensavers
The ones I have come across are:
DG Flugzeugbau GmbH (makers of full size gliders) at [link=http://www.dg-flugzeugbau.de/bildschirmschoner-e.html]http://www.dg-flugzeugbau.de/bildschirmschoner-e.html[/link]
Royal Air Force at [link=http://www.raf.mod.uk/downloads/screensavers.html]http://www.raf.mod.uk/downloads/screensavers.html[/link]. They have a number of screen-savers. Everything from current fast jets and the Red Arrows to the The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

RE: PLane Screensavers
I down loaded one of the screensavers from aviation savers but I can't seem to run it. Can some one help me with this? I went through the down load and installation. It tells me that it was installed properly. But how to run it? Thanks......

I haven't downloaded one of the screen savers, but I'm 99% sure what your problem is (btw, I own/operate a computer service company). Go to the desktop and right click and select properties. When the properties open up, look at the top for the tab labeled 'screen saver'. use the scroll box to select the newly installed aviation screen saver. That should take care of it for you. if not, let me know and I'll download on and troubleshoot it for you.
hope this helps

RE: PLane Screensavers
RCKEN,
The download process says it was successful. I don't see it available on the Browse options. I have it saved in my pictures file. Every time I go to open it it tells me it's preparing my system for the screensaver. Then when I click ok it tells me that it was successful. What next? I'm lost. Thanks............

And I have unzipped it....how do I get the screensaver into the correct folder? I don't know where to move it.

RE: PLane Screensavers
tailskid,
ok, I went out and downloaded it for you and put it on my system so I would know what I was talking about. I assume you know where you downloaded it to. I downloads as screensaver.zip. you will need to extract that zip file. If you have windows XP it will be able to extract the zip file, if not you will need to download winzip to extract it (www.winzip.com). Use windows explorer or my computer to browse to where you downloaded the zip file. right click on the file and select extract here. this will leave screensaver.exe in the same folder that the zip file is in. double click on the screensaver.exe which will give you a message saying that it has been installed, so click ok. then go to your desktop and right click in a clear spot and select 'properties', then select the 'screen saver' tab. use the drop down box to select the blue angels screen saver. it is called '2002blueangels'. select that and you're all set.
I have to say thanks to you for asking this question. I've been a fan of the blue angels since I was about 6 years old, and have seen them more times than I can count anymore. while I was there I found their 2004 schedule and noticed that they will be performing in Oklahoma City June 19-20 (only 85 miles from me). I've already got my calendar booked to see them again. thanks.
