Aaw, might as well put MAC in there. Mean Aerodynamic Center. There's a Mode 4 too. Basically you take the left stick and put it on the right and the right stick and put it on the left. Heli buddy of mine has his like that.

How About - SEAT - Single Engine Air Tanker. This is what AirTractor officially calls their Slurry Bomber. I'll have a SIG 4 * 120 SEAT flying before to long I hope

I didn't notice LHS on here (local hobby shop), but it's one I've seen fairly often on this site. That one threw me for a loop the first couple of times I saw it.

Ok Wayne, I thought of another. Though it's not used regularly by all members, it is used more by the "older" generation...

Commonly known as the CRS syndrome. ("Can't" "Remember" ....let's say "Stuff", though another "S" word would be more likely to be inserted here! )

Great job on the list!

Hi AirGar,

I've added it to the list. I have added several new definitions, but I'll wait a week or so before publishing the update, just incase some more come in.

Thanks for your input.

Best regards,

Wayne

Default RE: RC Universe abreviations, terms and acronyms list

From the list

Mode 1 – Transmitter with Aileron and Throttle on right stick, Rudder and Elevator on left stick
Mode 2 - Transmitter with Aileron and Elevator on right stick, Rudder and Throttle on left stick
Mode 3 – Transmitter with Rudder and Elevator on right stick, Aileron and Throttle on left stick

==================================

Mode 3 is described incorrectly. The above description of Mode 3 is actually Mode 4.

The correct description is
Mode 3 - Transmitter with Rudder and Throttle on right stick, Aileron and Elevator on left stick

I have a Futaba 6XAS set up as Mode 3.

Hi Airgar,

Thanks for the new definitions.

I hope everyone keeps them coming, and that we are providing something that people need.

I will probably be posting the new list this week.

Thanks for your help.

I don't mean to be too picky, but "Mm" is actually a megameter (1,000,000 meters). Millimeter is "mm".

Hi Gravityisnotmyfriend,

Thanks for the input. "Mm" is now corrected to "mm". My Word processor has the habit of making the first letter in a line a capital, I think it will be OK from now on.

I don't have too many new definitions, so I won't be publishing a new list until I get a few more.

Hope you found the list useful.

Best regards,

Wayne
