Is Custom Cutters out of business?

I will be building one of these kits this winter for a disabled member of my club. He has had the kit for a number of years. I have a supertiger 3000 engine setting hear for it.
I hear with the flaps deployed it can be flown at walking speed. Hope you find a kit to build soon.

I know this is an old post but I thought I would pass on some information concerning the Variant II. I currently own the design and have the templates, instructions and original plans for the design. I bought the design in 2004 and was considering bringing it back if there was enough interest on the part of builders. The wingspan is 86" with a total of 1300 square inches of wing area.

To all out there who are still following this thread, I have been working on reviving this kit for resale. I have hit a few snags during a flight of the first scratch built plane, so sorting out all problems and will be updating as soon as possible. Looking in on different variations for building it. I have already resized the front to except gas engines, as this seems to be the better way to go for this plane, plus saves on fuel expense. More in the coming year.

Nice Pictures , I have mine in Living room covered up in plastic to keep dust off
