RE: charging time
What's mha? MAh, maybe? What charger are you using?
If you're using a wall wart, 50 MA charger.... let's see, that's (2000 MA hours) / (50 MA) = 40 hours. If you look up Red's Battery Clinic, you'll see his recommendation that the first charge be slow, like 200 MA for 10 hours (in this case.) Which is moot, unless you have a fancier charger than the wall wart.
Good luck,
Dave Olson

RE: charging time
I wouldn't recommend charging at less than 200 mAH for 16-20 hours. Max safe quick charge once you've run them for a few cycles would be @ 1 amp x 2 hrs. If possible, slow rate charging (200 mah) will give you the longest life.

RE: charging time
For best life on a new battery (or one that has been in storage for a long time) is three cycles of charge at 0.1C for 12 to 15 hours followed by a discharge at not more than 0.5C. After that you can do your fast charges. Do check out www.rcbatteryclinic.com for some very good advice.

RE: charging time
Yes. For a 2000 mAH pack it should be "slow charged" at a c/10 rate (200 mA's) for about 16 hours.
You can NOT properly do a first charge with the standard wll wart (wall charger) that came with your radio equipment, which is usually a 50 to 100 mA charger.
