15 year old ultimate

Default 15 year old ultimate

I JUST AQUIRED A 15 YEAR OLD GOLDBERG ULTIMATE. DO THESE PLANES NEED TO BE REGLUED AFTER SO MANY YEARS OR IS IT OK TO JUST FLY IT? THE PLANE HAS ONLY BEEN FLOWN ONCE SO ITS IN GOOD SHAPE.

I would definatly re-hinge the plane. Hinges are cheap, and to be safe, do it.
I know you were thinking about it anyway, else you wouldn't be asking...

Get it checked out by a local builder/flyer, it's amazing how much damage can be incurred in storage....

My Ultimate; I'd guess she's getting close to 15 years old as well, untold number of flights, recovered twice. If you treat them right, they should last "forever".[8D]
