Pilots for forty size planes
I just got a twist and I have a few other forty sized planes, such as a Four Star, Pete'n Poke, Somethin' Extra, Funtana (if you call it a forty size plane), and a Mid-Star not yet built. I want to use pilots in my planes just as a matter of personal choice. Any Suggestions as to size and availability? There used to be a line of already painted small pilots a my LHS, but they have not had anything for quite awhile now.

Really, your local--Mart you can find all kinds of pilots. From Barbie to Spiderman. Dollar Stores are another good source. Feel free to hack and play with one, thier cheap. How about a generic Barbie with an eye patch. Use your imagination, and have fun.

RE: Pilots for forty size planes
In my T34 (ARF) I used Chester Cheetah (Aint easy bein' cheesy) and a modified Jack in The Box winter antenna ball for the pilot and co-pilot. Cut off the head of the supplied pilot and stuck the Jack Ball on the shoulders. Might use Samurai Jack (came in a Happy Meal I think) for my Super Sportster 20.
