Surpass .26 4 stroke question
I have a Surpass .26 4s and it has a tap in the crankcase plate..in addition to a tap in the muffler.. Is the crankcase tap a pressure tap..and the one in the muffler used in a smoke system..? Aproximately what kind of power will I get with this engine.. I am building a very ligh 50" wing stick framework high winger with super large 1/2 wing flaps and 1/2 wing ailerons also same size...I was hoping for a stol situation using divebrakes and large flaps

RE: Surpass .26 4 stroke question
The muffler tap is for tank pressure, the tap in the crankcase is Crankcase Ventilation.
Run a fuel line from the crankcase tap to outside the cowl. Otherwise black gunky stuff (That's the technical term for it) will ooze out of that vent and get all over the inside of your cowl.
I'm guessing you'd get about the same power as a strong .25 2-stroke.
