Default getting elevator or rudder to return to neutral

It always seems that the elevator and rudder don't return to neutral after being deflected with the servo. If I move it to the right it is off center to the right when I release the stick. I always figured this was due to the pushrods. I am setting up my magic 3D, which uses pull-pull pushrods, so I didn't expect to see this. Did I setup the pull-pull wrong, or is this the servo not returning to center accurately enough? It is a Hitec 225 servo

Sound like to much drag on the pushrods or hinges. Unhook the connectors on the servos and move the pushrods by hand to see how much drag os on them. I did away with the upper elevator pushrod as the lower one has more than enough strength.

Hitec standard servos dont center very well, they are 3 pole servos.
