Default Center Of Gravity ???

Does anyone know where the CG is located on the Flitecraft A-36 Bonanza ?

The product sheet states......."Center of Gravity & balancing problems are all but eliminated with the use of "standard" radios and engines in a controlled placement condition. If odd or extraordinary equipment is used, battery pack and receiver may be located anywhere in the plane for balance."

This does not tell me what I need to know.

As best I can tell the Mfg. is out of business so I need some help from you the readers of this post.

Thanks,

Jerry Howard

Default Center Of Gravity ???

I have read that you can locate the CG of a plane by using a plumb bob. From what I understand you tie a string/rope around the prop shaft, run the string through a hook in the ceiling and then tie the string off to the tail. With the model suspended you tie a plumb line to the hook and where it points at rest will be the CG. I've never tried this but it seems to make sense. For heavier models you may want to make up a sling to suspend the model from. Check out this link for more info

Hope this helps..
