Hitec Eclipse 7 vs Hanger 9 Ultra Stick
I am about to dive into the assembly of my new Ultra Stick - I have the Eclipse 7 radio and a Hitec RCD 3800 7-Channel DC shift selectable receiver with all HS-425 Ball Bearing Servos.
The plane has the capability of flaps and the ability to set up a "crow" - but I am curious (and am new to this) if my radio/receiver combo can support this.
I will have 7 servos on the plane and have seven channels to play with - but looking at the manual for my Eclipse 7 radio, don't seem to be able to figure out how to assign the 7 channels to support that crow functionality - can it be done?
The manual says the channel assignments for "Aircraft ACRO" break down to:
Channel 1 - Right Aileron
Channel 2 - Elevator
Channel 3 - Throttle
Channel 4 - Rudder
Channel 5 - (Landing Gear)
Channel 6 - Left Aileron
Channel 7 - (controlled by VR2)
It seems to me that my current hardware only allows me to set up the flaps using a "Y" connector to Channel 7 - I don't see that I have the ability to set up the much advertised "Crow" system - am I correct?
