Default I need info on CG and tank local

Hello, my father and I have just purchased a 23% edge 540. I would like to apply smoke and a centered tank on the CG for both the smoke and fuel. What are some precautions to look for when setting up the airplane like this? I am trying to obtain a pure trimmed and balanced airplane, either full of fuel or empty. Is this possible? I have never personally tried this in any of my other aerobatic airplanes. This is a new stoomping ground for me and any and all help would be of value, thanks in advance!

Two issues here:

1) There is not likely enough room to stack or put two tanks side by side on the CG.
2) Smoke is a very heavy option for a 23% plane. I'd say 30% and up for smoke.

I cannot comment on the available space. The tank on the CG is not new, we do it all the time on our Pylon Racers.

I fully understand that this is not a new concept. But this is new to me. Could I possibly run a smaller tank for smoke. And achieve this scenario in which I'm asking? Thanks

I never said it wasn't possible to put the fuel tank on the CG. But to put both the fuel and oil on the CG is pretty tough. I just put my fuel tank on my 25% CAP232 near the CG, it was not possible to put it right on the CG without a major surgery (the servo tray was in the way). Here is my thread on this. Sorry I don't have any "after" pic's. These are the "before" ones only.

How about a few pic's of yours? That would be easier to see if it'll work.

Thank you for your time and patience! I will post pics of the aircraft tonight around 7:30 central time. Then we will be able to figure this out a little easier.
