Default 4*120 dimension

4*120 dimension

I am interested in bashing another triple and would like to know the wing to ground distance on a 4 star 120 when the airplane is level (flight attitude). If clearance exists without making the landing gear look silly I would prefer to use 90’s.

Thanks.

Default RE: 4*120 dimension

I don't know the exact distance, but I have flown a friend's that had a Super Tigre 2500 for power. I forget if he used a 16" or an 18" prop, but there was good ground clearance. I would think if it was made for a 1.20, then a prop on a .90-nominally a 14"-would easily clear.
