Iron on hinges?
I've been away from building and flying for 10+years and am in the process of starting up again. I remember using iron on hinges that left no gap, but have been unable to find them. Are they still being made? If so, where can I find them?
I liked using them because they are strong and left no gap.
Thanks.

RE: Iron on hinges?
Granite State made them, and they went OOB a couple years ago. If you want them now, you gotta make 'em by sewing super coverite together. There's also a heat set adhesive cloth available by the yard at fabric stores in a bunch of weights. I'm experimenting with some now, but it doesn't shrink, so the hinge must be tight from the get-go.

RE: Iron on hinges?
This may not be what you're asking for, but they're cheap, easy and gapless.
