Model Tech Hurricane bal question

I've had this prob about a bazillion times...acquired a preowned plane and wondered about the balance point. Fortunately your wing isn't swept or delta so it's easy to find a good starting point.
The thing to do is either 1.) Measure the chord of the wing and find the point 25% back from the leading edge. Put your experimental balance point there or slightly ahead of it,
or 2.) Most built-up wings have the main spar right there, at the thickest part of the airfoil. Use that point and move forward 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch.
You'll probably be a little nose-heavy with these starting points, but it will be flyable and is MUCH better than starting off tail-heavy...[sm=drowning.gif]
Or, you can wait another week or so until I recieve mine and I can tell you what the directions say
