How is the best way to build floats out of foam?W
What is the best method of building floats out of foam? I have a band saw that I can cut angles, It just seams foam would be a good canadate for foam. would you sheat them with plywood or balsa? I have a 1/4 scale Monocupe that is just gathering dust and would like to build some floats for it. and fly it off water. Thanks Rich

Ideally, you should cut foam with a hot wire bow. I did it years ago and frankly, I wound up just buying a set anyway. For all the work it took, it was easier, and only a little more expensive to buy a float kit, and all the hardware was included.

Thanks Mike I sure your right. It was just a thought. Have you tried any of the EDO floats from Balsa USA?
