Default Does C/A Glue get brittle over time?

I have a couple planes to build,,a Flair Fokker DR1,and a Top Flite Cessna 182 that I`ve had for a few years.

My question is,,does C/A glue hold up over many years or does is deteriorate and get brittle?

Would it be better using "Conventional" glue instead of using CA?

Thanks for your time

I've got planes that are more than 12 yrs old. The CA is still holding them together so far.

Have used only Ca glue (Flash) for 20 years...no problem!

CA gets brittle right away, but definately has it's uses. I prefer to use carpenters wood glue such as Elmers, especially on wings. Although heavier than CA, if used lightly remains flexible and makes for a tougher assembly, especially in areas that flex during flight, and gives me a comfortable working time.
