Default Looking For A Club In The Saratoga Springs N.y. Area

The AMA website has a list of chartered clubs across the nation by AMA district. There are about 9 chartered clubs in the Albany area. Try this address to see the list.

Another possibility would be to contact area hobby shops. Hobbytown on Wolf Rd. may be able to point you in the right direction. It seems to me that there is/was a "hole in the wall" shop in Schenectady which may be helpful as they carried mostly R/C stuff. The name and address escape me though. Perhaps the Schenectady Air Museum would be worth a shot too.

Good luck
Mike

Oops. The correct name for the museum at the Schenectady Airport is Empire State Aerosciences Museum.

Default Adirondack Modelers

The Adirondack Modelers is a small club with both electric and Fuel flyers. the field is in Town of Ballston about 5 miles south of Ballston Spa and 2 miles north of Burnt Hills.

If you want some info, send me an email or call

384-0413. I am just a beginner and everyone seems to be very helpful.

Ed Buell.

The club at the Aerosciences Musesum\ is really for electrics only and their field is in Scotia which is quite a ways from you. Probably 14 miles further than the AM field.
