Piece O' Cake w/O.S. Max .10?
I want to build a trainer for a friend of mine and he wants something big and slow. I have an O.S .10 sitting around and I was wondering if anyone has stuck this engine on a Dynaflite Piece of Cake and if so was it way over powered or can the airframe take it?
Thanks,
Tom

Seen em fly with .049's .......the .10 should cause it be be a little heavier, but if well built it should work, the throttle will be more important. Actually it sounds like a fun combo. Again it needs to be well built, as I remember the kits quality isn't very good, just needs some work to true things up.

I think it's a real good combination. I had an HB .12 in mine and really liked it. The .049 flies the plane but you have to either find lift or climb slowly. I don't really like the short run times and no throttle in most cases.

My Buddy oyght one at an auction years ago, said he scrapped 1/2 the wood, but got good lazy flyier out of it until a screen door re-kitted the wing. I saw one fool flying one at a big bird fly in, he took it up with 2 lasers, and darn near rekitted them!
