Batteries - "top up" or "discharge and charge"
Hay guys,
After a flight say about 30 minutes of flying what should you do with your transmitter and receiver batteries, Charge them up (top up) or discharge then charge. All batteries are Nicd.
Thanks for your help.
Gerrie

With 30 minutes flying your transmitter should be just fine. If your receiver batteries are low just top them up.

I have a field charger for topping off RX batteries and a shop charger for cycling batteries after a weekend of flying. Everything should be peak detection.

I charge my rx batteries when they get at or near either 4.8 or 6.0v. Then I cycle them about every 6 months. Has been working great for me.
