What you can TRY is to take a sponge and wet the sponge thoroughly. Place the sponge on the decal and let it sit for 30 - 45 minutes. Then try moving the decal.

Be very careful and gentle. If the adhesive is not completely wet/loosened it is easy to tear the decal.

After the decal has been moved to its proper position AND IT HAS COMPLETELY DRIED, take some clear nail polish and, using the point of a toothpick, go around the edges of the decal to secure it firmly in place as the water from moving it may have weakened/washed away some of the adhesive.

For future reference:
I scan my decal sheets into the computer and, if I need a decal at a future date for repairs, etc, I print the sheet out on water slide decal paper

Great tips Mr.Campy,
I will give it a try.Now i know to double check my positioning of decals
after looking at the plane in my hand turning it around ect.I must have moved the number on one side of the plane,Its only a little off,But this was the plane I made for a contest.I dont want to lose over a silly thing like that. But this plane was'nt qualified anyways I always thought when they say you can enter a static airplane I figured it meant a plane that didnt have to fly.But below it says it has to have radio
controls in anouther section,So i got confused and went there with it anyways.
This was the W.R.A.M. show in white plains NY.The number four is crooked on one side just by a little. They let me put it on display anyways. Looks a bit small next to the P38...lol

Hi,

If the method outlined by Campy doesn't work instead of the water soaked sponge try steam.

Boy am I in trouble if my wife reads this!! My wife has an iron the connects to a large remote water supply and can blast continuous steam for ten feet. I think it is also useful on clothes.
I had a similar problem and when she was out of the house used the steam to lift a decal that was one bay out (got to change these glasses). The decal lifted after about five seconds of the steam assult. Like Campy described it wouldn't stick properly again and I used thin CA on the edges to make sure it stayed in place.

Good luck,

Colin

well thanks again for your help,I dont have anything small that makes steam except my wife...lol If I cant move it I will just leave it,only noticeable to the most dissearning model builders. That show I went to was nice ,I couldnt find the guy who was handing out
RCU bags with stickers and stuff in them.Wish I could have gotten one ,I want to spread the word of RCU on my trailer home window and car. If I get on dissability I plan to volunteer time to teach outhers this hobby in the small scale that I know.
