Default Painting over Ultracoat

I am covering a Goldberg Extra 300 with Ultracoat and am contemplating doing some painting over it. I believe I understand the prep process but I am wondering how much to shrink the Ultracoat. My past practice has been to shrink as little as possible; just enough to get the covering tight. Seems like this could cause problems if the covering gets a sag after painting. Your thoughts on this and what paints are your fovorites please.

Default RE: Painting over Ultracoat

I have used 21st Century paints over Ultracote with great sucess. There's no problem re-shrinking the covering later either

Mike, doesn't the paint come loose from the covering when you reshrink? I would guess that the paint must have a lot of elasticity in it. Do you know how Rustoleum would act?
