NICD/NIMAH Charger advice
Ok guys I am pretty much a dunce when it comes batteries and chargers. I need a charger that will charge (both at home and at the field) and cycle NICD and NIMH battery packs. All my planes are glow powered so I am not likley to be using Lilpoly batteries any time soon so I would hate to spend the extra $ on features I don't really need. I have read the specs on the MRC Microbrain it seems to be priced right and comes with a AC power converter which the GP triton does not. It is unclear from the specs if the charger will cycle the batteries, is discharge the same as cycle?? Thanks for your advice guys.

RE: NICD/NIMAH Charger advice
I was facing a similar situation as you. I've got lots of planes with a variety of nicad and nimh batteries. I wanted a charger that could do transmitter and receiver packs, mostly at home and perhaps at the field. I looked at the Triton, but wanted something with a power supply and I didn't want to shell out that much money on something that would only handle one battery pack at a time.
I ended up with the Accucycle elite. So far it's been working great. I've got memory settings for all of the different packs I use. At the time I bought it, I too didn't anticipate needing to charge LiPoly batteries, but I'm glad I bought a charger with the capability. I ordered a slow stick for those times when I wanted to be able to put in a flight or two in the neighborhood. Since the charger was capable, I'm going to use LiPoly batteries instead of nimh.
