Default Gyros in planes....

I have an old gyro from my heli that I wanna put in a plane and no there is no particular rason why. But how do I got about doing this, can I simply hook it up as I do in the heli or do i need to do something else?

Also what is the best control surface to put the gyro on? I am thinking rudder but have also heard of people putting them on wing for flying in winds...does this work?

Default Gyros in planes....

Not really looking for a debate about weather or not to put a gyro in an airplane.

Just wanting to know how I set it up in my airplane on the tail.

Is it the same as a heli or different.....
