Default Dean's ant

I have new engine (roto 25cc gas) , PCM rc Futaba and Deans ant is good or not good...?

If this is the real short antenna, I would stay away from it. If this is the one I am thinking of, it is designed for electrics and your range WILL BE RADICALLY reduced.

If you must use a short antenna, check out the Hayes "loaded" antenna. This is an 18" long antenna. I have used this on a couple of my scale planes to preserve the appearance and found my range reduced by only about 25'.

if its the Deans base load antenna whip (not the micro version).............

You won't lose any noticeble range. A large number of jet guys use it.

I use it in my Xcell.60 and never I have had problems
