Where did you buy it? They should be able to help you get it sent back. As far as Enya engines go, don't throw the baby out with the bath water. I have an enya .50CX. It is a great engine and they last forever.

Ha, I have an Enya 45 CX that I was having all kinds of trouble with. Put an OS #8 plug in it and the thing never ran so hard in it's life. The plane took off and climbed straight up almost out of site. Then about 5 minutes later I tried a blender and I think the battery came loose and lodged in the ailerons with some left being the last input. It went straight into the pavement in a slow spiral.

RE: Enya 50 info....
I think Altec sold the Enya. They were really good engines,, but apparently could not keep up with the market changes from the 80's. I have the .29, gave away the .45 and have seen the .60 's and they were all good engines. However service / parts are another question. I sent a .45 in for new sleeve etc a few years back. What I got back was a box of parts with another engine. I called them and they said they shipped the wrong box. Finally I got the repaired engine back and a .45 would only turn a 10x6 prop 9500 rpm. Don't know if they put in the wrong sleeve or what,, but gave up on the Enya and haven't bought one since. Typically they are over priced against competition.. perhaps why you don't see them often. You might watch ebay for one to come up for parts. Otherwise if It were mine,, it would become a conversation piece while I was flying something else.

I have a 40. SS for about a year and use the OS 8# plug for it. Runs great.
From what I heard about them until now, these engines last forever if you treat them right.
And never run them too lean

Yes Enyas last for years,i have 10 of them over 30 years old and they still run fantastic! The secret to Enya engines is to break them in with a size larger prop then u plan on flying them with. ( flying with a 10/6 - break in with a 11/8 ) Also try to find the hottest Plugs u can for them, the OS#8 is a exellent plug, but fos rc longs work great to. Run them using a caster/synth blend and 10 to 20% nitro. You'll get many happy years from Enyas.

Petty:
A 2-stroke like this is pretty simple. If you dont have any mechanical damages, and can turn the prop around not hearing/feeling anything strange, then cehck this:
1. Do you feel a normal comp.?
2. Is your glowplug really glowing?
3. Do you get fuel through your system?
- Then turn main needle out 2,5 turns, give it some throttle, and it will start.
If you have tried "everything", I guess something obvious/basic is left out. For me, I found the main needle was choked by old fuel. Go over it again, adjust the idle needle and main needle, make sure the plug glows, and start the da... thing.
Good luck.
