To Ultra Stick owners...
To any who can answer,
I have trainer level experience with flying and plan to get the Hanger 9 Ultra stick 60 as my second plane. Currently I own an O.S. FS-70 Surpass and wanted to know if it would provide enough power for the ultra stick 60. I'm not an experienced flyer yet so I don't need anything too powerful; just wanted to know if the FS-70 would work. I do not have enough money to buy anything larger currently but plan to do so in the future. Thanks
Brad

Yes it'll fly. I fly mine with a 91 Surpass. It flies very well slow. Generally I use 1/2 throttle or less. I takeoff with 1/3 throttle. Beware the plane has no self-righting characteristics. It goes where it's pointed. I also do all-out flying with it. It'll hover with the 91 at about 2/3 to 3/4 throttle, but again its a good slow flyer, especially with flaps and/or crow which are loads of fun. If you have the 70 Surpass go for it.

Yes it will fly, but not unlimited vertical, stick it in and go play ,think you'll enjoy, later may want something with little more h.p. under the hood, then again you may not.

Thanks a lot for the input. It's like I said, I just want it to fly right now b/c it's been a while since I've flown (about 5 years), but I will definately want something that will fly it to its potential later on down the road. The 91 surpass sounds like a good fit. Thanks again!
