That is going to be a WHOLE lot of engine for that plane and yes I'd opt for a larger tank.

How long of flights? flying a us 40 with an OS91FX with a 12 oz sullivan flex tank - dont fly much full throttle and make 8 min flights but will fly for 10 min.

I assume you mean Ultra Sport 60? If so I have two both 18 years old. Mine tips the scale at 6.5# and is powered by a Super Tigre S-61K with a 16 oz tank. This plane is an absolute joy to fly and very seldom see’s full throttle (maybe takeoff) and the 16 oz will last 19 minutes with 2 or 3oz left in the tank. The second was my sons second low winger and weights 8.2# powered by a Enya 60 which makes it a good wind plane. This one also has a 16oz fuel tank and it lasts 8 minutes but the throttle might as well be a toggle switch.

Mine runs a 12x9 prop. And I had to bend new LG for prop clearance. My buddy Bill is building one with a Saito 100 and had to bend new LG legs and add a support to keep it from wobbling to much. You might consider that if your 90 will be turning a 13 or 14 inch prop.. Also the support depending on what type of landing you plan to be doing three point or wheel.

i have a us60 with a OS 91 FX and use the stock tank, i can get over 20 min on it with fuel to spare. i almost never go over 1/2 throttle you can go vert forever at 1/2 throttle. i did loose the stock OS muffler it made the engine run flat on the bottom half of the throttle and installed a header and jerry smith moose can pipe. this made the throttle responce very crisp and smoth from idle to w.f.o. it depends on how you fly i don't know how long it will fly at w. o. t . this plane to me is not ment for speed but for fun slow manuvers.
good luck

I think you should go for a bigger tank.
