Default Y Harness Volt Monitor and RX Battery

I have a 7 Channel Receiver and I have used up all the channels: Twin Elevator, Twin Aileron and Gyro; need to plug my volt monitor in somewhere; can I use a 'Y' harness plugged into the Battery port and plug my volt monitor and battery into the 'Y' harness?

Yes, you can do exactly as you suggest. or if it is more convenient, you can put the voltage monitor with a "Y" cable on any one of the servos.

Keep the wiring between the battery and receiver as free from extra connections and wire lengths as possible. All the power for all servos go thru this path and any added impedance can be a problem. A good place to insert your Y is in the throttle connection, less current and less chance of fouling up something else.
