Beckman Concealed Actuators?
Has anyone had any dealings with Beckman Concealed Actuators? Pros and Cons if any? I ran across these while looking at different methods to control ailerons. I was wondering if these actuators were safe and effective, and if so, could they be used on a .60 size plane. I am also considering using bellcranks or maybe a flexible push rod. I saw a setup where someone used the flex pushrod to make a "wide" 90 degree bend inside the wing. Of course it was braced and supported quite often. I will be using a servo on each aileron and I want to try something different than the torque rod setup. Could someone enlighten me as which direction might be the best. After a 15 year "break", I have decided to get back into model aviation. It is interesting to see all the changes that have taken place since I was active in the hobby. Thanks in advance to anyone that might be able to share some experience with me...
