FWIW, I can't stand the PT-40. I've flown three or four and found them to be wallowing tubs. But everyone has an opinion, right? The original Midwest Esquire series were some of the best flyers of their age. The Super (Model Avaition June 1990) looks like this cat's meow. I just obtained an original Esquire kit-the .15 size. The plans note that this model should fly great with "modern" radios-now that you no longer have to carry a 45 volt filament battery for the vacuum tubes in the receiver! Go for it!
