I am thinking about vacuum forming my own wheel pants and cowlings. There have been many threads suggesting this can be an easy process. However, I am a little unclear as to how thick a sheet needs to be for engine cowling, wheel pants and canopy. Also there doesn't seem to be a lot of information on joining the pants or attaching the pants to the landing gear. Any of you folks been doing it successfully???
