Default *Spinner For Saito 1.00*

Besides "Tru-Turn", who makes a 2 1/2 aluminum spinner and adapter nut for the Saito 1.00? True turn is a little high but I can't seem to find anything else. Anyone running a Saito 1.00 with an aluminum spinner? I'll even take plactic if I can find one that will fit the Saito 1.00 with an adapter nut. A link would be helpful.

I don't recommend plastic on a 4 stroke......

I know Great Planes and Dave Brown have spinners....

I use Tru Turn... I know you said you don't want one, but it works great and is very light

I already looked at both of those and I don't see an adapter set that will fit the Saito 1.00.

Dave Brown certainly makes one with adaptor--I have one. Look again, or do a google search for dave brown spinners--check all online stores that carry them, or go to your LHS and order one. Be aware, though, that you will not get an aluminum spinner for any less than 30 bucks by the time you buy your adapter!

Thanks for the info dude. It's still cheaper that Tru-Turn.

Cermark has some pretty good looking aluminum spinners and the price is right. I'm not sure whether they sell different adaptors than the one listed for a particular spinner.

Its worh a call to see if you can get the right adaptor. I have used these and they are pretty good - maybe a little heavier than the Tru-turn but for $9.00, how can you go wrong. In the past, I have drilled out an adaptor that was too small and re-tapped the hole for the appropriate shaft size. I am using one of the 2 1/4" spinners on my Saito 100.

Dave Brown Products
[link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXB943&P=0]adapter[/link]

this is the x-long one. you may want to double check a 2.5" spinner probably doing to use the long

the thread size is 8mm x 1.25.
I have a 4" dave brown aluminum spinner, my sea fury required a 4" spinner and they work great.

So with the "Dave Brown Spinner 2-1/2" Standard 2-Blade Aluminum" the adapters you mentioned will work on the Saito 1.00?
