Default Sanding sealers???

OK ... Back in the old days we use to make sanding sealers for balsa by taking clear dope and adding baby powder. The technique worked pretty well. Not to mention that it smelled good when you sanded it. Recently I have been toying with the idea of using latex waterborne paints. It seems there were a lot of threads on here about latex and Behr paints. I went to there site and found a product calles Permaseal. According to the information this is a waterbased paint designed to be a sanding sealer. Have any of you guys given it a try??
