weather info
A few months ago I came across a web site that had a graphic display of predicted wind speed at any given time of the day. I though I had bookmarked the site but, I guess I did not. It wasn't the NWS or any of the regulars like Weather.com or accuweather.com nor was it weather underground. What ever it was was geared toward RC piolts for the most part. It had a bar display that would indicate avg wind speed at a given time of day across the page.
Has anybody out there seen this web site?
It was linked from a model builder/flyers page but can't seem to find that one either...
Thanks

The best and most accurate info on winds for our uses avaliable anywhere. It is not specifically geared toward RC flyers and when you select the "aviation model" format, it means you are selecting aviation oriented weather.
We are lucky here since our field is located one mile from one of the reporting stations that this site uses. The accuracy of the predicted winds to the hour is increditable.

I use this site:
http://www.erh.noaa.gov/ifps/MapClic...te=MA&site=BOX
On the lower right side of the page, you can click on "hourly Weather graph" and tune in the the exact info you want.
I plugged in your listed location, but you can move the red dot on the map and get an exact location.

I use this one. http://www.weather.com
It gives a breakdown hour by hour INCLUDING wind.
Either use the zip code OR the city/town and state. Up here in Connecticut, I have found it to be accurate over 95% of the time.

RE: weather info
Thanks guys, John posted the link I was refering to. We have a airport within a few miles of our flying field and it gives us a good idea of what our conditions would be.
Thanks to all for information....
