Default Buddy Box Compatibility

Are different brands of radios compatible in a "teacher/student" buddy box setup.
I would like to use my Hitec Eclipse with an Airtronics 4 channel Vangard.
Is this or any other combination of radios possible?
Thanks all...

RC
The combination you have is not compatible. The only radio brands the are compatible are Futaba and Hitec.

All the other radios need to be the same brand to buddy box with.

On the Futaba Hitec if you hook them up one way both will transmitt. I am not sure if it is Hitec master Futaba slave or Futaba master Hitec slave that does this.

Hope this helps
