Default Changing Channels in Receiver

Hi All,
What is the general feeling towards changing channels in a receiver. As in going from channel 56 to 19? Can this be done without any difficulties arising?

Thanks,
Chris

This can be done legally. But you might end up with less than ideal reception. After you swap the crystal, range check the system. And never swap transmitter crystals. This is illegal in the US.

Not a problem, except in Futaba receivers. Futaba uses a hi band and low band, & you must stay with-in the band when swapping. Not real sure what channel the hi-low break is, but somewhere around ch 35 or 36, I beleive. JR, HiTec, & Airtronics are no problems to change out to what ever channel is needed.

I've changed Hitec's back and forth from one end to the other. Never had any problem.

Enjoy,

Jim
