Where to fly in Orange County CA
Hi,
I am looking for a place to fly fuel airplanes in Orange County CA. I live in Foothill Ranch and I know of the Trabuco Canyon flying field. Is there anywhere else? Flying club or not.
Thanks in advance

#1 Prado Flying field at chinohill(No turbine)
#2 Apollo Field at Valley(Too many people,Too risky I heard)
#3 Whittier Narrow Park(It's not good for fast engine airplane)
And I am still looking for great flying field in Orange County.

Well,
There is the site at Prado as listed. There are two in Corona, one in Temecula, one (or more) in Hemet. Yes, it's a long drive to all of them. If you want to go down the 5 and go East on the 76 (past Camp Pendleton), there is one in Bonsal, My field is in Fallbrook and there are 2-3 more in Northern SD county.
There just aren't any sites in O.C. except Trabuco...and a couple of private ranches (you have to know someone kinda thing... NOT AMA SITES).
There are some electric only flying sites, but I think theye are mostly schools.
I am confident that I have not helped you. Sorry.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I think that the consensus is that the only runway close by is the Trabuco Canyon Flyer's. I went and checked it out yesterday and they have a very nice facility. Nice runway, clubhouse, and everyone I talked to was very friendly.
