Default TME, slimline & sullivan smoke pumps

I'm considering a smoke system with my ST 3250 and Slimline pitts smoke muffler.

I'm thinking the TME smartsmoker. Slimline and Sullivan make similar items. However the TME looks to work with 4.8 or 6V battery packs of which I have plenty. Price is not really a factor amongst these three. So what is the experience with these on reliablity? Who makes the most troublefree of these transmitter controllable, mixable pumps?

$12 a gallon for MDW Super Dri oil? Got to be something cheaper.

I have the Sullivan Skywriter system in a TCraft and it works great. Very easy to set-up. I had problems in the beginning with the pump losing its prime, I swapped out the check valve and its been trouble free since. I really like the Bennet smoke oil. Get the flow set right and the mess is minimal.

Just put the TME Smartsmoker Deluxe kit in my Pitts 12, and it works great. Engine is an OS 1.60FX 2 stroke. I would have to disagree with anyone who says you cant get good smoke from a two stroke. This pic was taken the first time I fired it up, and it hadnt been adjusted yet. Smoke oil is MDW Super Dri.
