Default Tricycle retracts --- how they work?

Tricycle retracts --- how they work?

I just maiden my Seagull Dual Ace, the only thing what is missing is the retracts.

I installed successfully retracts on a P51 (57in). the reinforce, cutting and planning was not a big challenge.

What I like to know is how to install the front wheel? What I fund was this retracts from B&D, but there is no explanation. The good part on this retracts is, they have live time warrantee against wear.

Any input would be highly appreciated. Thank you and…

Happy landings

nose gear can either be bolted to a bulkhead ,called a firewall mount or on rails like hardwood engine mounts.it depends how your model is set up what way you mount them

And the steering mechanism is via a pull-pull cable coming off of either your rudder servo (if a straight shot is possible), or a separate servo Y'ed into your rudder servo. The pull pull hooks up to a tiller bar connected to the nose gear, and it all works pretty well!

I appreciate the info on the retracts – I will go for! This week I will order the retracts, it seems all week long rain – good chance to get them installed.
Thanks again and…

Here is a picture – one plane is “real” the other is my wish. She fly so nice and the sound is incredible, the cherry on the cake would be the retracts!!
