Default cutting wing cores

What are the pros and cons of a two part template to a one piece?

Default RE: cutting wing cores

getting them lined up right is the toughest thing. I use 2 part on most of my stuff. I use a square bottom template that matches the bottom of the foam. Cut the top first, change it and then cut the bottom. I key them so they line up correctly and there is no question. Just takes time to build the templates right, but it is worth it. The one template method works well too. I have done a lot of it. Just depends on the airfoil and how things line up. Just watch your pins you hold them on with so you don't try to cut them. They don't cut like foam.

Thanks Flyboy.

What sort of a key do you use? Just a simple notch and tab, or something more elaborate? Any chance you could post a pic?

Thanks,
Lurch
