Default Flying with floats

When I modified my plane to accept floats, I positioned the CG of the floats under the CG of the plane. When sitting on the floor it will lean a little forward. Is this better than it leaning back? How much different will it fly? The plane is a trainer and I installed a Thunder Tiger F 54S, so it has pleanty of power. A picture of the plane can be seen in my gallery.
Thanks

Default RE: Flying with floats

Add (Or remove) weight to (from) the floats so that the plane's CG is the same as it is in a wheel configuration.

Set the floats up so the Step is right at or within 1/2" of the CG and the TOP of the floats should be -2 degrees (Minus 2 degrees) incidence with the wing at Zero degrees incidence
